How to Place an Order

Service Options, Minimums and Deadlines
“To Go” Orders
Orders that are packaged in disposable “To Go” containers and left for you to pick up from the Coffee Bar.
“To Go” orders must be submitted at least (1) full business day prior to your pick-up date and must meet a $30.00 minimum. Your order must also be placed from the “To Go” menu.
For same day coffee “To Go” requests at Edwards, please call our catering
department at extension 5089
“Delivered” Orders
Catering staff will deliver your order to a specified location and set it up with catering equipment. Staff does not remain for the duration of the event, but instead, bus carts are provided.
Catering “Delivered” orders must be submitted and finalized (2) full business days prior to your event date and must meet a $100.00 minimum.
“Full Service” Catering
Catering staff will deliver your order to a specified location and set it up with catering equipment. Catering staff will remain for the duration of the event.
“Full Service” Catering orders must be submitted and finalized (2) full business prior to your event date and must meet a $250.00 minimum.
Order Cancellations
Catering orders must be cancelled with at least (2) full business days notice to avoid cancellation fees. Orders cancelled with less than (2) full business days notice will be charged for all of the product that cannot be repurposed in normal outlets.
Additional Fees
Set-Up Fee
A 15% delivery fee will be charged to all orders.
Delivery fee will be waived on orders over $1,000.
For events held in Central Park additional labor charges may apply for set up
and breakdown of event furniture and equipment.
Late Fee
Same day orders will incur a late fee.
Breakfast - $50
Lunch - $150
Snacks - $25
Revisions
All revisions to your Catering Order (including guest count changes), must be
submitted a minimum of (2) full business days in advance. Any revision request
submitted within (2) business days may incur a $50 late fee.
China Service
In accordance with Edwards Lifesciences sustainability initiatives, China Service is offered at no charge for up to (50) guests. Quantities are limited and assigned to events on a first-come, first-served basis when requests are received. If China Service is not available and is requested, the charge for rental china will be added to your order.
Disposables Fee
If disposables are preferred or if China Service is not available, disposables will be provided at no additional charge. Bon Appétit provides compostable product that meets Edwards stainability standards, therefore providing your own disposables is not permitted.
Party Platter Disposables
Sandwiches, Salads and all items from the “To Go” menu can be ordered and
packed for you in larger “Party Platter Style” disposable platters and bowls. There will be a charge for the requested disposables at $3.00 per platter or bowl.
Removing Unused Product
Items that remain on the buffet table may be available to take home. Please consult your Catering Manager for any items you may wish to take. Catering staff is not allowed to pack any food to go. Clamshell disposable containers are available for the purpose of taking leftovers away from your event. Clamshells are charged on consumption at $0.50 per piece. Please be sure to request these in advance.
Linens
Standard in-house linen is available for $2.00 per linen and $0.30 per linen napkin. Please note, some banquet tables require (2) linens. Standard colors are white, black and ivory. Additional colors are available but cannot be guaranteed. Please see your Catering Manager for additional linen options (including specialty rental linen).
Labor
For Catering requests with (50) or more guests, your Catering Manager will
recommend the appropriate staffing. Depending on the size and scope of your order, occasionally staffing will be recommended for events with less than (50) guests.
Staffing for Full Service Catering will be charged using the standard labor formula: (2) hours set-up + event time + (1) hour breakdown.
Labor is charged on the hour, not a portion thereof.
“Delivered” Catering orders that start or continue past 5:00 p.m. require After-Hours Labor. This is charged at $25.00 per hour.
Coffee “Refreshes”
If your “Delivered” Catering order requires a “Refresh” of Coffee, it can be brought to you without meeting a separate minimum within (3) hours of the initial coffee order. If Coffee is needed more than (2) hours after the initial order, it will be considered a separate order altogether and will be billed per airpot
